Friday Forays in Fiction: Quote
“Language is a cracked kettle on which we beat out tunes for bears to dance to, while all the time we long to move the stars to pity.”
--Gustave Flaubert in Madame Bovary
Was without Internet for over twelve hours on Friday and since it didn't come back until 2am I had fudge the time-stamp on this post. I'm tried to rush to put up this 'quickie' post but my computer thot it had ten-thousand better things to do than open browser pages upload/download images etc. Probably updates and scheduled downloads that were held up by the lack of connection. Anyway, still want to get this posted quick-quick so I can get back to making music for dancing bears for Camp NaNo and WFMAD while it is still coolish in the house. We hit triple digits Friday and expect to do so again both Saturday and Sunday. Possibly as high as 107.
