Sunday Serenity #182
Preparing yesterday's post for the giveaway of The Castaways by Elin Hilderbrand, a summer beach read, made me hanker after reading on a beach. Or at the very least outdoors. But the dismal, dreary, overcast and drizzly Oregon weather this week has made that impossible. At least not without an umbrella.
So I'm making do with pictures and imagination as I curl up with a book on the bed with fleece blankets and socks.
It's June for crying out loud.
But I hear that by the end of the week I'm gong to be wistfully wishing for a day like today. High 80s and high humidityby mid-week.
BTW the drawing for The Castaways will be held June 26. See post for entry rules.
1 tell me a story:
I really like the picture used here. Sorry to hear you don't have summer weather yet. We've already hit the 90s a couple times (North Florida). We have started getting the summer midday showers that leave the side walks steaming...ugh! But I guess it is better than dismal and dreary.
I hope things brighten up for you! Have a good week.
