Found this on fb and thought it a fitting nod at NaNo which is consuming my writing time and energy.
My duties at Mom's today included making breakfast for myself and my sister and helping make crockpot chilli for dinner. Also helping Mom lay out an afghan to block with a steam iron and put away some laundry and fill out my ballot and take it out to the mailbox and write emails and... and...
It was a fairly laid back day but chopped up into a lot little chunks. Learning to write around these little chunks of time is a challenge for me. I hate interruptions and so often allow them to be terminal to whatever story, scene, thought, or sentence I was in the middle of when called away. This is a novel's death knell.
