Some good choices there. Have you ever read Harlan Ellison? One of my favorite writers, mainly writing in the short form.

I'm one of the read-a-thon helpers and I've been visiting participants to make sure they don't forget it's this Saturday already. It's clear that you haven't, and it's great to see that you're excited about it :D Those are some great choices. I love Fragile Things, as well as everything I've read by Oates so far.
